Driving Skills Testing
BDL offering driving skills testing since 1998
We have easy-to-find testing sites in Beaverton, Clare, and Midland.
Skills testing is available for automobiles, motorcycles & CDL.
Our examiners are certified and bonded with the State of Michigan and work in a highly professional and friendly manner.
What to bring if you are UNDER 18:

Original Level One license
Must have for a minimum of 6 months & be 100% legible. Photocopies will NOT be accepted. - Proof of current & valid insurance
- Proof of current & valid registration

Driving hours log
Must have a minimum of 50 hours logged, 10 of which must be night time driving. - Must have Segment 2 Certificate in hand(no photo copies)
What to bring if you are OVER 18:

Temporary Instruction Permit
Must be original & must be 100% legible.
Photocopies will NOT be accepted. - Proof of current & valid insurance
- Proof of current & valid registration
DO NOT SCHEDULE A TEST IF:

You do not have ALL of the CORRECT/NECESSARY information
Driver License Number, Birthdate & Segment Two Completion Number - Your Permit is expired
- You have not had your Level One License for AT LEAST 6 months

You have not completed Segment Two
You must have your completion certificate in hand -
If you schedule and pay for a test and you are NOT eligible per the State of Michigan CARS System, the test date/ time you chose will be cancelled and a refund will be issued less a $10.00 processing fee. If you cancel your test 48 hours or more ahead of time, you'll be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. If it's less than 48 hrs there is no refund given.
You will need to schedule another test when you have the necessary/correct information
